The Township have reached easement agreements with Sunny Willow Swim Club and Upper Dublin School District Board to create a formal park access point from the SWSC property.  Construction documents were previously developed and the Township has applied for grants to support the construction of the connection in the near future.

The bike playground at Twining Valley Park is now open for use!  To access the bike playground, park patrons should use the crushed stone pathway located next to the “Bike Playground” feather flag just off the stone parking lot.  This new amenity is designed for children 12 and under and accessible for bikes, trikes, scooters, big wheels, and wheelchairs.  In the coming months we will be adding benches and trees and hopefully shade structures.  An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in the next few weeks.  The bike playground is the first phase of a planned Graduated Bike Park, which will also feature a pumptrack at some point in the future.

The entire project was funded through grants provided by PA DCNR, Montgomery County, and PA DCED. 

The 4 pickleball courts are now open.

Before you visit the new courts, please know the following:

• Courts are open 8:00am to 8:00pm (or sunset), 7 days a week.
• At this time, court use is first come, first served with a 2-hour play limit for regular, organized groups.  Permits for guaranteed use of the courts will not be issued at this time.  During the summer, UDP&R will be reserving court use for its programs and that information will be posted at the entry gate.  
• Outside groups charging a fee for participants to play and/or private lessons are NOT permitted at this time.
• For those driving to the park, you should park in the stone parking lot off the primary park parking lot (1400 Twining Rd, Dresher), then walk through the Twining Road tunnel to reach the courts OR park in the dog park parking lot (1487 Twining Rd, Dresher) and follow the pathway to the courts.  In either case, please stay on the pathway.
• For those walking or biking, just follow the pathway to the courts.
• For your own safety, to access the courts, DO NOT cross Twining Road.  Please use the pathways and Twining Road tunnel.

While the courts are now open for play, there are additional improvements coming in the near future including:

• Windscreens
• Additional player benches
• Site and directional signage
• Bike rack  

Future park plans include public restrooms, pavilion and a naturalized playground. Grants will be pursued for each of these amenities to fully pay for or off-set Township costs for construction. Until restrooms are built, port-a-pots are available in the main parking lot and in the dog park parking lot. The park building's restrooms are available on weekends from April to November from 9:00am to 3:00pm (weather-dependent).
