SHADE TREE GIVEAWAY REGISTRATION

The Shade Tree Commission “Adopt a Tree” Event is here with native trees available for adoption! Tree reservations are required and available on a first come, first served basis. Reserve your choice of tree online here starting TODAY!

There are limits to each tree species and only one tree per Upper Dublin Township residence, business operator, and property owner for planting in Upper Dublin is allowed. An additional tree may be available for adoption depending on availability.

Pick up your tree on Saturday, October 18th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am in the Upper Dublin Library parking lot at 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington. The container trees will range in height from 3 to 5 feet. You are responsible for transporting the tree to your property and for planting the tree.

Although the trees will be offered without charge, in order for the Shade Tree Commission to continue this program, donations are requested and greatly appreciated at the time of adoption. The current cost per tree is about $16. A donation option is available when you reserve your trees. If you would like to make an additional donation via check to the Shade Tree Commission, directions will be included on your receipt. Cash is also accepted when you pick up your tree.

NOTE: As of September 3, 2024, a non-refundable processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions made through Upper Dublin Township (program registrations, permit fees, bulk trash payments, etc.). Processing fees are paid directly to a third-party credit card vendor and are not paid to the Township.

We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. To avoid a processing fee, the Township can accept payments via cash or check.
